A username can hold special meaning, whether or not it is easily noticeable. They are a conglomeration of memories, happy thoughts or emotions, and even inside jokes between family and friends. My personal username is a jumble of happy thoughts, memories, and goals.

Since I was little, I began to collect books. I like to joke that I was a "mini hoarder in the making," which is not something you should take pride in (especially when looking back on all those episodes of Clean House I binged). However, my passion for collecting nostalgic books from my childhood morphed into a well-filled library. Multiple shelves line my walls separated into categories of Favorites, Read, and To Be Read. During this preteen years, the word "Bibliophile" came to me through this beautiful website, better known as Pinterest. It was at this moment that I discovered that I classified as this word. As my social media accounts surround my love of books, it only made sense that it include this beautiful word "bibliophile." But where does the rose part come from?

Roses are typically associated with meanings of love and romance, a lover bestowing a gift upon another lover. However, in my life, it is one of the familial relations. When I attended drama courses in middle and high school, it was common to give roses or carnations to the performers and crew. I would enjoy the presence of the flowers in my room, and when they dried, I would preserve them in various manners, from taping them on my wall to placing them in lanterns or jars. The flowers associated a lot of positive events and achievements in my life. Thusly, Rose felt like a necessary part to add to my username.

To quote the fairy godmother from Cinderella, "Put 'em together, and what do you got?" BibliophileRoses, a beautiful, eccentric name that makes you think of a bookshelf full of rose aesthetics and old musty books.
